of the publication : |

The South
African Geographical Journal is the academic publication of
the Society of
South African Geographers. The journal considers publication
of original material on all aspects of geography, both physical
and human, with particular relevance to southern Africa. Material
published includes peer-reviewed research papers, review articles
on specific topics of geographical interest and short research notes,
and book reviews. The major requirement for publication is the significance
and value of the work for the development for geography and geographers.

| The
South African Geographical Journal is abstracted on the IBSS
(International Bibliography of the Social Sciences) and we have applied
for accreditation with the Institute of Scientific Information (ISI).
Accordingly The South African Geographical Journal is already
fully accredited for publication subsidy purposes by the SA Department
of Education. |
